My deepest sympathy to George's family and friends.

I remember George as a great person and was able to visit him a few times when he lived in Darlington. I also remember how he loved to dance and spent many Saturday nights at Monroe doing just that. I'm sorry to say I do not know his family, but Bevy Mulcahy. George is another icon lost from the Fayette area. Sincerly, Laura (Toots White) Gross.

George and I have been good friends for many years going back to the days we went to turner hall in monroe for dances. I always looked forward to visits any time. I will really miss him. Best friend David Carpenter

I had the honor to help George at Sienna Crest and he was my friend. I always called him a historian because he was so knowledgeable about everything. He always had me listen to his favorite music and I feel so blessed that I was able to be a caregiver and also a friend to him. He will be missed by many and my prayers go to his family plus Jimmy at this time.
