David Lacke

A true legend. He was like a brother for so many years and the memories and laughs will last forever. His charm and wit were unmatched! Rest easy, pal. Our love and prayers to the entire Lacke family and everyone that he touched.

My son’s significant other is Dave’s daughter Abby. I was able to meet Dave several times and he always would have a cheery hello . He always left me with the impression that he was just a good down to earth person who a lot of people looked up to. My heart and prayers go out to Abby and her family.

Learning of Davids passing sparked a ton of childhood memories , growing up with the Lacke family were times that stayed with me for a lifetime . The old neighborhood at the corner of Happy St and East main was always a place to find a back yard Football or basketball game and Dave was always in for whatever was happening , can honestly say I never met anyone who didn't like David Lacke . I'm sure he will be missed on a grand scale by many .

The class of 83, lost a great man! This was our best reunion to date! Oh all the laughs that date I will cherish the rest of my life!

As my brother said, we had coolest guy in neighborhood. I disagree with tom on great baby sitter. Dave was the best. He smoked dads cigarettes and drank his beer...and dad knew it. Lol. Didn't care. Lots of memories sir. Your legacy will live on thru all who loved you. Tim SHEP Shepherd
