We were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Our condolences to the entire family. I don't know if you could find a nicer guy, friend or neighbor that would do anything for you without asking any questions. He surely will be missed.

Jimmy had such a positive influence on my childhood. I remember the countless late nights playing basketball at the park, when he would pull up in his spotless Monte Carlo, stop, and say hello. It always felt good to have an older cousin check in on you. Jimmy was always the kindest and friendliest person, and he had a way of making you feel truly seen and welcomed. Those small moments left a big impression on me, and I’ll always carry them with me.

I had the privilege to know Jim from a very young age. Coached in in 7 & 8 grade basketball, where he was A pleasure to have on our team. My deepest sympathy to Gordy and Jim’s family in these trying times. God’s speed my old friend!
