Gregory L. "Greg" Fenner, age 67 of Darlington, WI passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington, WI. He was born March 27, 1953 in Darlington the son of Scott and Lucille (Pletzer) Fenner. Greg lived in Darlington his entire life and graduated from Darlington High School in 1971.Greg is survived by one brother: Carl (Pam) Fenner of rural Darlington; two sisters: Helen (Jerry) Rhodes of Belmont, WI and Muz (Ed) Aebersold of Platteville, WI; a sister-in-law: Dee Fenner of Platteville; one aunt: Alner Pletzer of Spring Green, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Wayne Fenner and Leonard Fenner. Greg was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington. He was also a member of the Glory Singers, Darlington Jaycees, and was voted Mayor of the Lafayette Manor. Greg also dedicated his time to helping start the Robert Woods Scholarship Fund. He loved music and singing and was a dedicated Chicago Cubs, Wisconsin Badger, and Green Bay Packer fan. Greg also had a competitive side - always ready for a good game of Trivial Pursuit. He enjoyed reading - especially about history and was well versed in Genealogy. Greg always had the capability of putting a smile on your face, and would always end a visit with his favorite phrase "Class of 71". A graveside service will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington with Rev. Joji Reddy of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Rev. Glenn Andes Evangelical Free Church in Gratiot co-officiating. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written out to the family of Gregory Fenner. The family would like to thank the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Lafayette Manor, the Darlington High School Music Department, Agrace Hospice of Platteville, and the Darlington Class of 1971 for their friendship and support of Greg over the years.

🎶I had the distinct pleasure to perform with Bub at his neice’s wedding. It was an honor to sing with Bub. We laughed together and worked together to make the ceremony a unique tribute to the couple and their families. 🎶 Bub had a wit and talent that was a rare gift and he shared them everywhere he went with everyone he met. Bub was one of the most special people I have ever known. He was so much fun and had an amazing sense of humor. His grin/smile was contagious and always warmed my heart. I was fortunate over the years to enjoy his many talents, namely his beautiful voice. He was an amazing man and will be missed. I find comfort in knowing he is in the arms of his wonderful parents. I loved working and talking with Greg almost daily at the Manor. We enjoyed kidding each other , reminiscing about our high school days. He was Mr. Woods favorite and I reminded him of that often. Greg had special gifts, he will be missed!

My sympathy to all of Greg's family. Greg was a character and he and I would always cook up some kind of stuff to get the attention of his friends with rivalry sports. Go Cubs. I worked at the nursing home and Greg was my star activity person. Greg loved history and we would talk about that when we got together. Everyone else called him Bub, but he was always Greg. Many fond memories. He will be missed.
