Lila Dearth

Lila R. Dearth, age 77 of rural Argyle, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 14, 2020 at her home. She was born May 10, 1943 in Madison, WI the daughter of Lester and Myrtle (Olson) Olson. Lila grew up in Mt. Horeb, WI where she gradated from Mt. Horeb High School. After graduation, Lila attended Madison Business College for one year. After school, Lila married Frank M. Dearth and moved to rural Argyle where they worked on the farm and raised their family. Lila is survived by her husband Frank at home; and two sons: Christopher Dearth of Monroe, WI and Brian Dearth of Argyle. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Andrew Dearth in 1967 and Jon Dearth in 1976; and two sisters: Janice Gust and Vilas Kading. Lila enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and children and playing cards with Frank. She cherished her family and the memories they created together. Lila will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Per Lila's wishes, there will be no services. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family.
