James Hendrickson

James M. "Jim" Hendrickson, age 63 of Darlington, WI passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 06, 1957 in Harvard, IL the son of Morris Hendrickson and Stella (Olson) Hendrickson. Jim graduated after 12 years of schooling at Darlington High School. Following his graduation, Jim enlisted into the United States Army and was stationed in Missouri with his high school sweetheart and fiancé, Rosemary Nethery. After being honorably discharged, Jim and Rosemary moved back to Darlington. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Nethery on December 23, 1977 at Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington. He started working for Iroquois foundry in Browntown where he worked for 13 years as an Iron pourer. Jim dedicated 17 years laying concrete for Glendenning ready mix throughout the area. He finished his career working for Cummins Emissions, retiring in 2019. Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years Rosemary Hendrickson at home; his children: Michael (Andrea) Hendrickson, Misty (Randy) Paulson, and Amanda Hendrickson; his grandchildren: Skyler Jerrett and Katie Jerrett; his siblings: Sheldon Hendrickson, Shelby Hendrickson, Mary (Pete) Schmidt, and Julie (Pat) Andreas and one beloved dog: Kallie. He was preceded in death by his parents: Morris and Stella Hendrickson; his brothers: Donald Hendrickson, Larry Hendrickson, Kenny Hendrickson, David Hendrickson, Richard Hendrickson, and Robert Hendrickson; his sister Alice Bruyere; his grandchildren: Aryahna Bloedow and AJ Jerrett.Jim loved to fish and enjoyed a cold Miller High Life. He cherished the time he spent with his family, creating memories that they will all remember forever. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.A memorial service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington with Rev. Thomas Strutt officiating. Burial will be at Union Grove cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
