Carl Anderson

Carl L. Anderson, age 57 of rural Darlington, WI passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home in rural Darlington. He was born December 17, 1963 in Darlington the son of Clayton "Keg" and Mary (Digman) Anderson. Carl grew up in Darlington and graduated from Darlington High School. He made Darlington his home his entire life, farming for different families throughout the years. Carl is survived by two sisters: Lori Hurst of West Yellowstone, MT and Carla (James) Gable of Shullsburg, WI; his nieces and nephews: Amber Jean Gable and Amanda Anderson of Platteville, WI, Brittany Jo Hurst and Heidi (Kevin) Cannon both of West Yellowstone, and Jarred Hurst of New Mexico and Lukas Hurst of Oregon, IL; and his great-niece and nephew: Taybree and Logan Cannon. He was preceded in death by his parents; one niece: Lynnette Hurst; his paternal grandmother: Esther Eveland; and his maternal grandmother: Emily Kail. Carl cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories they will all remember forever. He poured his heart and soul into his farming - as it was his life's passion. When he wasn't working Carl enjoyed spending time with friends and watching old Western movies. He had a gentle soul that will be missed by so many. A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N. Judgement Street) in Shullsburg. Following the visitation, the family would like to invited family and friends to the G-Spot Bar & Grill in Gratiot, WI to celebrate Carl's life.
