Cynthia Moore

Cynthia A. "Cindy" Moore, age 63 of Darlington, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at her home in Darlington. She was born March 3, 1958 in Hazel Green, WI the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Long) White. Cindy grew up in Platteville, WI until moving to Fitchburg, WI when she was 16 years old. After graduating high school, Cindy lived in various states including: Minnesota, Montana, and Oregon. She moved to Darlington 10 years ago and has resided here since. Cindy is survived by her husband: Tony Standifer of Darlington; two sons: Rick Babcock Jr. of Seattle, WA and Justin Moore of Eugene, OR; her step-children: Tony Standifer Jr. and Jeremy Standifer both of Oregon, and Adam Standifer of Washington; 11 grandchildren; two brothers: Randy (Lisa) White of Brooklyn, WI and Rodney (Diane) White of Allenton, WI; two sisters: Pamela (Terry) Reuter of rural Darlington and Tammy Jo (Robert Noble) White of Gratiot, WI; a sister-in-law: Tammy White of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Robert White Jr. and Richard Allen White. Cindy was a marvelous cook - known for her delicious lasagna and egg rolls. She enjoyed camping, playing cards - especially euchre, and had a passion for martial arts - proudly being a black belt. Cindy was a gentle soul that truly lived life to the fullest every day. Cindy was an adoring wife, an attentive mother; a proud grandma; and the best sister. Her entire family will forever miss her. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Per Cindy's wishes - no services will be held. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
