Robert Buschor

Robert "Bob" Buschor, age 90 of Darlington, WI passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 in Wauwatosa, WI. He was born October 7, 1931 in Arthur, WI the son of Jacob and Bertha (Tuescher) Buschor. Bob grew up in Darlington where he graduated from Darlington High School. Following high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Army in 1953 and was part of the 2nd Infantry Division stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington until being honorably discharged in 1955. When he completed his enlistment, Bob moved to California where he met his wife Patricia Drues. They were united in marriage on April 28, 1957 in Hayward, CA. The two of them returned to Darlington in 1958 and Bob began farming - a career he had for 32 years. After retiring from farming, Bob worked part-time for Lands-End in Dodgeville, WI for 15 years. Bob is survived by his wife Patricia at home; his children: Michelle (John) Treshler of Clayton, CA, Deanna (Jon) Gumina of Colgate, WI, Marty (Jeanne) Buschor of Rock Hill, SC, and Jackie (Joe) Schilz of Muskego, WI; his grandchildren: Gina, Alex, Abby, Amanda, Joe, Josie, Monica, Becca, Celia, and Jared; two great-grandchildren: Lilah and Jack; and one sister Rita of Argyle, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Barry Buschor; two brothers: Richard Buschor and Steve Buschor; and one sister: Ruth Loring. Bob was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Bates-O'Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post #214 of Darlington. He was a lifelong Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan and always enjoyed watching their games on TV. He loved spending time outdoors gardening, landscaping, cutting trees, and always had a good time when he was spending time out in his cabin in the woods. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren creating memories they will all cherish forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E. Harriet St., Darlington) with Fr. Luke Syse officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery where military graveside rites will be accorded by Bates-O'Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post #214 of Darlington. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
