Wesley Moen

Wesley E. Moen, age 78 of Argyle, WI, passed away on January 19, 2022, at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI. He was born on July 4, 1943, the son of Erling L. Moen and Lenore Ruth (Phillips) Moen. Growing up in Argyle, Wesley attended Argyle Grade School and farmed in his youth. Wesley and his father owned Moen Brothers plumbing heating and electrical for 30 years. He married Donna Faith in Monticello and then raised their children on the farm. Wesley is survived by his children: Michael Moen of Middleton, WI, and Vicki (Mark) Betthauser of McFarland, WI; one grandchild; his brothers: Robert (Diane) Moen of Monroe, Donny Moen of Albany, WI, and Richard Moen of Blanchardville, WI; his sisters: Ruth Moen of Argyle and Shirley (Gary) Eidsmoe of Blanchardville; his sister-in-law: Jan Moen of Pleasantville, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Moen.Wesley was a very proud member of the Argyle Fire Department for 26 years. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed doing, including jig saw puzzles, woodworking, and taking care of his beloved dogs. Wesley will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.A visitation for Wesley E. Moen will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 2 PM until 4 PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 E. Milwaukee St., Argyle, WI).
