In July 2020, my family and I went to see Grandpa so he could meet our son for the first time (his great grandson Austin). We took grandpa out for lunch at a place of his choosing. Then after we wanted to get some jerky and cheese curds. He told us where to get it from. When we got there he saw his favorite sandwich. We told him to grab whatever he wanted as we were paying. He was so excited for this sandwich. And he said “I can get two meals out of this sandwich. I’ll eat one half for supper and the other half tomorrow.” He was just so proud and so excited and it was so cute. When I was little I remember going to the market with him, and everyone knew who he was. And the first thing out of his mouth everytime was, “this is my granddaughter Amanda”. He was so proud to show off all his grandchildren. I will miss you so much Pops. You are hands down the most amazing man I have ever had the pleasure of loving. You are such a sweet man. You give the tightest hugs and the scratchiest kisses. I will miss you calling me your Mandy. You are the only person who can call me that! I love you so much.

To Carla/Kelly and family of Lyle Schwartz, Wanted to touch base and offer my condolences at the time of Lyle's death. It has been so many years past, but I do remember some short visits with Lyle when I stopped at their house just outside Darlington (on Highway 81 if memory serves me correct) to meet up with you and some of the Darlington crew for our adventures. Lyle was always a friendly guy to chat with. Next few days will be a bit hard, but always good to have a large circle of friends and family to help get through what lies ahead. Goes without saying he will be missed by a lot of people. Take care. Bob Kliebenstein
