Richard A. "Ricky" Kilkelly age 63 of Belvidere IL passed away Friday April 15, 2022. He was born September 8, 1958, the son of John and Gertrude (Wedig) Kilkelly. Ricky grew up Belvidere and later graduated from Belvidere High School in 1976. Following high school Ricky began working for Chrysler Automotive as an assemblyman until his retirement.Ricky is survived by two sisters; Connie Chandler of Shullsburg and Ann Kilkelly of Charlotte, NC and special friends: Kim (Tim Sombert) Manson of Belvidere and Jimmy Manson of Port Aransas TX. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Jon Kilkelly and James Kilkelly.Ricky loved being outside, you could often find him using his chain saw cutting down trees or fishing at the lake. When he wasn't outside, he enjoyed socializing with friends and family.A visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2022, from 1:00PM- 2:15PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington (508 Park Place, Darlington WI 53530). A Service of the Word will be held Monday, April 25, 20222 at 2:30PM at the Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington with Father Luke Syse of the Lady of Fatima Parish presiding. So sorry for your loss. Would like to share a truly funny memory..we had made meatloaf for supper and asked him to stay. We had our 4 children and us so one more was always a good thing! So we all were finished and Rick was still hungry understand we always cooked for many and made sure leftovers! He asked if he could have more we said of coarse. He finished about 5 lbs more of meatloaf new bottle of catch-up and potatoes 🤣!! Kids were shocked an happy we didn't have any left ◀️ ver and pizza was next day. We all laughed when We asked Rick are you full and he said yes he was going home to take a nap! We said see you later and he told kids pizza wasn't as good as meatloaf!!
