John M. Flanagan, age 80 of Argyle, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Argyle. He was born August 30, 1941. John lived in the Argyle area his entire life and graduated from Argyle High School in 1959. Farming was John's passion; he lived and worked on his family farm in Adams township in Green County his entire life. John was married October 22, 1972, to Ruth Ann Ranum.John is survived by his wife Ruth at home; seven children: Bob (Debra) Golackson of Rome, Cheryl Golackson of Brodhead, Tom (LuAnn) Golackson of Argyle, Donald (Amy) Golackson of Monroe, Michael (Lisa) Flanagan of Woodford, Mark (Wendy) Flanagan of rural Argyle, and Shelly (Lentz) Wolf of Monroe. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as three brothers and five sisters.In honoring John's wishes, no services will be held. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family.
