Loretta Ingram

Loretta Ingram, age 56 of Rock City, IL formerly of Shullsburg, WI passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 after a long courageous battle with multiple sclerosis at her home in Rock City with her family by her side. She was born December 23, 1965, in Darlington, WI the daughter of Richard and Janet (Schwartz) Harker. Loretta grew up in Shullsburg where she graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1984. Loretta met the love of her life, David Ingram back in her hometown of Shullsburg. In 1993, David and Loretta moved to Pecatonica, IL where they have resided since. They were united in marriage on March 19, 1994, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Shullsburg and have dedicated 28 years to loving each other unconditionally. Loretta is survived by her husband David at home; her daughter: Erin (Mathew) Cramer of Roscoe, IL; three granddaughters that she absolutely adored: Chloe, Alaina and Madeline; her mother: Janet Harker of Shullsburg, WI; her sisters: Rose Doyle and Susie (Danny) Morrissey both of Shullsburg, Mary (Gary) Horras of Waunakee, WI, and Bernadine (Mark) Salathe of Darlington; her sisters-in-law: Pam Harker of Shullsburg and Kathy (Tamra) Ingram of Fond Du Lac, WI; her parents-in-law: Jack (Kay) Ingram of Pecatonica, IL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Richard Harker; two brothers: John Harker and Allen Harker; and her grandparents: Ray and Elva Harker and Joseph and Cecelia Schwartz. Loretta's whole world revolved around her family. She made sure that her family knew how much she loved and cherished them and how proud she was of them. Her personality shined even on her darkest days and she could always put a smile on your face. Loretta found the best in any situation and always had a positive outlook on things. She loved to spend time outside planting flowers in the yard, cleaning the house, and spending Saturday's shopping. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at Centenary United Methodist Church (226 W. Church St., Shullsburg) with Rev. Maria Kim officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at Centenary United Methodist Church.
