Linda Hanson

Linda L. Hanson, age 70 of rural Argyle, WI passed way Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her home in rural Argyle. She was born March 19, 1952, in Monroe, WI the daughter of Floyd and Doris (Johnson) Hermanson. Linda grew up in Blanchardville, WI where she graduated from Blanchardville High School in 1970. She was united in marriage to Ronald Hanson on May 15, 1971, at Adams Lutheran Church in rural Argyle. The day after their wedding, Ron and Linda moved to Killeen, TX where Ron was stationed. They lived there until November of 1973 when they moved back to Blanchardville and raised their family. In 2003, they moved to rural Argyle where they have resided since. Linda is survived by her husband Ron at home; her mother: Doris Hermanson; her children: Jennifer (Mike Zuhlke) Hanson of Brodhead WI and Jason (Karen Brunton) Hanson of Cuba City, WI; her step-son: Dustin Randall of Dallas, GA; her grandchildren: Shawn (Andrea) Hanson, Mikayla (Dylan Hustad) Hanson, Tessa (Mason Lull) Hanson, and Bo (Emma Federman) Hanson; one brother: Alan (Cindy) Hermanson of Monroe, WI; two sisters: Karen (Scott) Ingwell of Cartersville, GA, and Kathy Gilbertson of Blanchardville; and two brothers-in-law: Jeff Pefley of Dubuque, IA and Terry Hager of Tomahawk, WI. She was preceded in death by her father: Floyd Hermanson; two sisters: Jeanie Gilbertson and Joni Hermanson; Father-in-law Myron Hanson and mother-in-law Arlene (Mani) Hanson; two brothers-in-law: Ted Gilbertson and Keith Gilbertson; and one nephew: Wesley Gilbertson. Linda was a member of Adams Lutheran Church in rural Argyle and the Argyle American Legion Auxiliary where she served as Treasurer for 11 years. She worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block for 32 years. She also dedicated time to the Blanchardville Homecoming Committee for 30 years. In her free time Linda enjoyed bowling, traveling, and doing arts and crafts. Linda was very handy and could fix just about anything. She cherished the time she spent with her family, creating memories they will all remember forever. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Adams Lutheran Church with Rev. Erich Hartenberger officiating. Burial will be in Adams Lutheran Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle) and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at Adams Lutheran Church.
