Robert N. Wiegel, age 72 passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Darlington , WI. Bob was born on June 13, 1950 to Glenn and Evelyn (Parkinson) Wiegel. Bob, known to many as Easy, lived and worked in the Darlington area most of his life. He was a machinist/welder by trade and could fix most anything. He was a charter member of the Beowolf Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles all his life. He was an avid reader and western movie enthusiast. Bob is survived by his children Lee Kilcoyne, Shannon (Jeremiah) Hellenbrand, Shaina Kilcoyne (Ryan Schryver), Mandi Kilcoyne (Alex Porter), Lance Kilcoyne, and granddaughters Tenley and Josie. Bob is further survived by siblings Ginna (Jim) Schenk, Richard Wiegel, Ed (Betsy) Wiegel, Jean (Bob) Kendall, Joan (Mark) Subach and Irma Wiegel, six nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins. The family would like to thank Jim Meylor and family, Mark Selmeister, George West and Charles Martell for their generosity and friendship to Bob through the years. I remember growing up together and the fun we had especially in the summers playing baseball and always finding something to do roaming all over town. Getting through High School and I left and met Teri. Regrettably, we took different paths in life, but when I would come home I would always get together with you. We were so proud and honored to have you in our wedding. Seeing and talking with you got more infrequent, but it didn't matter because our special friendship will always be with me. Bob, rest in peace with no regrets! ED

Q: How did you meet Robert? A: I met him when I moved to calamine maybe '97/'98. He was always a super nice guy. I had just seen him not too long ago at the pig. RIP Easy

Sincere sympathies to all Bob’s children and siblings. RIP Bobby. I haven’t seen him in many years, but many warm childhood memories of Christmas Eve gatherings with the Wiegel’s. Mom would make oyster stew. My dad always kept $600 in a dresser drawer in case someone needed bail money when the banks were closed 😆. I remember one night Glenn came in the middle of the night to get money for Bobby. Juvenile prank involving a baseball bat and mailboxes…. and most likely underage drinking. Who knew at 16 that’s a federal offense? He sometimes kept Glenn and Evelyn awake at night, but was always loved unconditionally. Hope this story makes you smile. Hugs to all the family. 😘
