Carol Rosebrook

Carol J. (Miller) Rosebrook, age 89 of Darlington, WI passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at Edenbrook of Platteville in Platteville, WI. She was born July 18, 1933 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Roy and Ruth (Giesey) Miller. Carol attended school in Freeport, IL. She married the love of her life James A. Rosebrook on August 11, 1951 in Freeport. Carol was proud to be the manager of the family farm throughout her working years, something she did while raising her children at the same time. Carol is survived by her children: Michael (Pam) Rosebrook of Cedarville, IL, and Kelly (Peter) Raschk of Oxford, WI; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James; and one son: John Rosebrook. Carol was a devout Jehovah Witness. Carol loved to take care of animals and would often rescue pets that needed a home. She cherished the time she spent with her family creating memories they will all remember forever. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Darlington American Legion (1400 Keep St.) with a luncheon to follow at 3:00 P.M.
