Patricia Andes

Patricia Mae "Pat" (Gibbons) Andes, age 88 of Gratiot, WI passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. She was born June 17, 1934 in Bellefonte, DE, the daughter of James and Eva (Yerk) Gibbons. Pat was united in marriage to Lester C. Andes on August 29, 1953 at the United Church of Christ in Limerick, PA. Pat is survived by her children: Glenn (Anita) Andes of Gratiot and Colleen (Neil) Andes-Tucker of Fort Defiance, VA; a son-in-law: Joseph Russo of Weyers Cave, VA; her grandchildren: Caleb (Melissa) Andes, Micah Andes, Levi Andes, Katelyn Tucker, Justin (Alanna) Andes, Jason (Celine) Andes, Andrew Tucker, Lukus Andes, and Alyssa Andes; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother: Terry Gibbons of Pottstown, PA; a sister: Sharon (Jan) Seldomridge of Blandon, PA; and one sister-in-law: Dawn Gibbons of Pottstown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Lester; a daughter: Carol Beth Russo; one brother: James Gibbons; and a sister-in-law: Donna Gibbons. Pat heard the Gospel from her dear friend Shirley Runyan and surrendered her life to Christ 58 years ago. As an adult she attended Calvary Bible Institute where she studied Biblical Studies. She proudly sold Mary Kay for many years where she made many lasting friendships. In her free time, Pat enjoyed painting with oils, canning, and playing the piano. Patricia and Lester enjoyed living near family in Virginia for 24 years. Pat cherished the time she spent with her family. She made sure they knew how much she loved them and how proud she was of them any chance she could. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Limerick Garden of Memories (44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468) with Pastor Jody Reese of Nittany Baptist Church in State College, PA officiating. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington, WI is serving the family.
