Obituary

Ronald "Ron" O'Rourke passed away on February 26, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born May 4, 1963 in Monroe, WI the son of the late Richard O'Rourke and Barbara (Stamm). He graduated from Belleville High School in 1981 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1983 where he was a weather observer and forecaster. He was a proud Veteran and was honorably discharged in 1992. He lived most of his adult life in Fort Worth, TX He is survived by his mother: Barb (Jerry) Flannery of Weatherford, TX; Brothers: Robert O'Rourke of Monroe, WI, Brian (Jodi) O'Rourke of Belleville, WI and Shannon (Ruth) O'Rourke of Fitchburg, WI and many aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Shawn O'Rourke and his grandparents. Ron lived in England, Texas, Illinois, Nebraska, and Georgia throughout the years. As a child, Ronald became very interested in genealogy as a child and had been researching his families genealogy since 1990. He was a bright light and will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Services for Ron are pending at this time. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com. Ron was a roommate of mine for a few years in Atlanta. Always full of life, into jewelry and the royals. Breaks my heart to know he is gone. Miss you my friend 😢

I went to high school with Ron. He was a year behind me, we got to know each other very well while being in Choir and doing "Godspel" He had a beautiful voice. We all had some fun times together back then. Fly high old friend, we will meet again.
