To the Collins family especially to Joyce, your Mother was an amazing lady who had a work ethic that matched no other, she was a pint size of a women but her desire was huge. Her pies were the very best and her cream chicken was to die for. Know you are in my thoughts. Elaine Vogel

The Nennig family will always remember Irma as a wonderful loving person. She became an intimate member of our family after Mary Ellen’s parents passed. Irma and her restaurant became the center of our visits to Argyle and was the highlight of weekends as we all wanted to go to Irma’s for breakfast and/or lunch when we visited. Irma would go out of her way to visit with us and when our granddaughter Maddy came along, Irma always came to find out how Maddy was doing. Irma left her skillset of welcoming all to everyone that worked at Irma’s. Irma was Argyle for many of us and the warmness of her Resturaunt provided the best gathering place for all-regardless of backgrounds and political persuasions. We will miss her dearly. Love to the family and our deepest sympathies! Art and Mary Ellen Nennig & Family

I can't share just one memory, but as new-comers to the area her incredible food drew us in time and time again. When we had just a camper, we knew where to go to have a true blue meal from the Heartland. If our memory is just a bit of what Irma was about....her effect was enormous. What a mark she made on this planet!!! Our best memories and condolences, Pam and Gale Rigotti.
