Obituary
Timothy J. Thesing, age 62 passed away on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1961, the son of James and Colette (Kaczorowski) Thesing in Lanesboro, MN. Tim and his family later moved to Waukon, IA where he graduated in 1980 from Waukon High School. Shortly after high school, he entered the United States Navy where he served for 8 years. After his discharge, he worked as an owner/operator over-the-road truck driver. He was proud to serve his country, but more importantly he was proud to serve the Lord. He accepted Christ while driving across Ohio as the song Amazing Grace played on the truck radio for he was never to be the same again. On November 25, 2006, he was united in marriage to Christine Stein. Tim is survived by his wife Christine, son Nathan Thesing and stepchildren Lisa (Bryan) Kumfer and Craig (Andrea) Nolen, grandchildren Emma and Betsy Kumfer and Cleo, Karl, Lisl, and Otto Nolen. He is further survived by his siblings Monica Thesing, Tom Thesing, Donna (Greg) Brink, Theresa (Fidel) Moncada, Patty Livingston (Tim Niles), Neil (Corlis) Thesing, Andy (Sherry) Thesing, MaryBeth Thesing, Lori Ann Reyes, Jim Joe Thesing (Shawn Kiley), Jennifer (Ismael) Sanchez; one sister-in-law: Anita Stein, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Colette Thesing, brother Patrick, niece Karla Thesing, father and mother-in-law Karl and Luise Stein, his aunt and uncles Anthony Thesing, Elizabeth (Cliff) Blaha, Gerald (Juanita) Thesing, Dale Thesing, and Edward Thesing. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 18 and 8th 1802 8th St., Monroe WI. Visitation 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Bishop Luis Rivera will officiate. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Argyle where military graveside rites will be accorded. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Vets in Crisis through Argyle American Legion Post #251.

Q: How did you meet Timothy? A: Tim was a beautiful person wonderful smile always made somebody happy he was an inspiration to me and my dad as my dad and him share stories as they were truck drivers I was honored to see him and my dad be ordained chaplains Tim was a brother at the church of the apostolic road and I am honored to have met him and he will forever live in my heart my condolences to the family to his wife.

So sorry for your loss. Losing parents and siblings, we are never ready for. We remember all the times with your family, four youngest staying with us when Jim Joe was born, times going to St Mary's parish Lycurgus, IA. I lost my parents and two brothers making me the oldest of the 12 and Herb is 8th of ten with only two younger siblings. Hope you family is still making an effort to gather other than at death. Girls in our family do a good job but boys not so good at coming. Herb's clan does really well with Larkinfest when 100 people show at city park. Thank you for post Tim life story.
