Obituary
Ronald D. Andrews, fondly known as "Hog Man" by those who knew him, was born on July 10, 1953, in Darlington, WI, and passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023, at SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Ron grew up in Lamont Township in Lafayette County, where he attended Argyle Schools. His early life on the farm instilled in him a strong work ethic and a lifelong passion for raising pigs. When not on the farm, Ron was known for his love of a cold beer and his knack for telling a good joke. He could lighten the mood with his antics and pranks, always ensuring those around him were smiling. His friendly and interesting character, combined with his unique sense of humor, made him hard to forget once you met him. Ron is survived by his children: Steve "Hoss" (Ann) Andrews of Shullsburg, WI, and Tracy (Bernard Adamsukim) Butson of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren: Trevor (Ande Ramiez) King of Dubuque, IA, Irein King of Shepard, MT, Alan Butson II of Fall River, WI, and Gage and Mackensie Andrews of Shullsburg; his great-grandchild: Jasper; his brother: Harvey (Janet) Andrews of Argyle, WI, his sister Carolyn Belton of Morgan Hills, CA, and his sister-in-law Joan Andrews of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Jeanette (McKitrick) Andrews, his brother Gary Andrews, and his brother-in-law Robert Belton. A Celebration of Ronald's Life will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Salathe's Saloon in Darlington, WI. First of all I want to tell my children Tracy Jane and my grandchildren Steven David and Ann and family how sorry I feel that their father / grandfather passed away. My ❤️ is with you all. When I was married to Ronnie, one morning he asked if I wanted to go to a Rock festival? I was young and naive of course I wanted to go. So I got ready to go and i walked outside and he had the tractor and hay wagon. I said are we going on this Ronnie said yeah he said his dad was going to he was going to drive the tractor. So Harry went down to one field and When we got their Ronnie said ok get off the trailer. He said we are picking up rock's. Harry his dad busted a gut laughing. But we had fun. Good thing I packed a lunch and drinks. I never lived that down. We had alot of good memories. Sincerely Audrey Bond From South Dakota
