Theodore Tollakson

Theodore (Ted) Tollakson age 87 of South Wayne, WI went home to his Heavenly Father early Friday morning August 25. He dedicated his life to his family, his farm, and his country. He served in the Army as a medic in the mid 1950's. Following his honorable discharge from the Army Ted returned to the family farm where he continued to farm the rest of his life. Ted was born to his parents Blanche and Harvey on August 20, 1936, in Monroe, WI. In 1954, Ted married his high school sweetheart, Darlene Hurst. Ted and Darlene went on to have 9 children. Ted is survived by his children: Debbie (Mike) Mau, Marne (Steve) Bechtolt, Kim (Mark) Stalker, Greg Tollakson, Robin (Rick) Nafzger, Jodi (Tim) Schliem and Patty (Todd) Ritschard. Ted is also survived by his 26 grandkids and 37 great-grandkids; his son-in-law: Steve Mau; an honorary daughter: Mary Miller; one sister: Mary Ann (Dave) Johnson; and a sister-in-law: Mary Tollakson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Darlene; his son: Gary Tollakson; his daughter: Cindy Mau; his grandson: Michael Nafzger; his great-grandson: Mathias Koch; and his brother: Gene Tollakson. To honor Ted's wishes, there will be no funeral services. We invite you to privately celebrate Ted's memory in your own ways. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
