Sheron Roddick

Sheron "Sherry" A. Roddick, of Shullsburg, WI, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023, at Monroe Health Services, Monroe, Wisconsin. Sherry was born on October 2, 1944, the daughter of Leonard and Adda Kittoe. She grew up in Shullsburg and graduated from Shullsburg High School in the Class of 1962. Sherry was united into marriage to Richard "Dick" Roddick on September 13, 1975, in Dubuque Iowa. Sherry and Dick raised their children and worked in Shullsburg their entire lives. Following their retirement, they bought a vacation home in Arizona where they made memories that will last forever. Sherry is survived by her husband, Dick Roddick; her children: Deborah (Willard) Chandler of Platteville, WI; Annette Ferrett of Peoria, Arizona; Alan (Melissa) Tyson of Glendale, Arizona; Christine (Stephen) Fried of Goodyear, Arizona; and Jeffery (Deborah) Roddick of Glendale, Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is further survived by her siblings: Ronald (Joani) Kittoe of Stoughton, WI; Larry (Kim) Kittoe of Kansas City, MO; Janice Prechel, and Patricia (Patrick) Teasdale, both of Monroe, WI; and one sister-in-law, Sharon (Lenny) Glass of Platteville, WI.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Dean Gehrt; sister, Helen Olmstead; son-in-law, Darren Ferrett; brother-in-law, Harlan Prechel. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, golfing and playing euchre. All activities that allowed her to unwind and relax. Sherry enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with her husband Dick. She loved their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The memories she created with her family will be cherished and remembered fondly and often. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
