Kirsten Kjenner

Kirsten Kathleen Kjenner, age 52, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 22nd, 2024. She was born on June 26th, 1971, in Darlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frederick and Frances "Fran" (Peterson) Fink. Kirsten graduated from Darlington High School, a member of the class of 1989. Kirsten was passionate about taking care of others, and she found fulfillment in her career as a CNA over the past 12 years. In her free time, Kirsten enjoyed reading, traveling, binge-watching true crime shows, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets, Dodger and Lady Schnookums. Her children were her pride and joy and she loved nothing more than watching them grow and celebrate their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. Kirsten was a loving, kind mother, daughter, friend and human being whose presence will be forever missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Kirsten is survived by her father, Fred Fink Sr., of Darlington; her children: Jamie (Andrea Hunt) Kjenner of Janesville, Melissa Kjenner of Madison, and Stephanie Kjenner of Janesville; step-son Britton Kjenner of Beloit; siblings Fred Fink Jr., Carmen (Victor) Brunner, Francie (Bruce) Tuescher, Terry Fink, Jarrod Fink, and Dustin Fink, and special nephew Doug (Sarah) Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother. A private memorial service was held for Kirsten on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, at Erickson Funeral Home in her hometown of Darlington, Wisconsin.
