Dear Diane and Stan, as you are well aware, I had your mom all through high school as a P.E. teacher. I remember her well trying to teach a bunch of inattentive, uncooperative, and uncoordinated girls how to play golf. As golf balls are flying everywhere, except mostly where they were suppose to, I'll bet she was ready to lose her mind! I don't remember her losing her temper though, she just kept trying to show us proper stance and form. I rarely saw her lose her temper in fact, which with a bunch of snarky teenage girls must have been tough, lol! And although, I didn't always appreciate her enough when I was in school, as an adult I really came to enjoy both her wit and giving nature. You both have my deepest sympathies, and please extend those to your families also.

My sincere sympathy to all the family. Irene had many challenges in her life and she faced them and endured. She was a brave lady.
