Patty Brown

Patty K. Brown, age 68 of Darlington, WI, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born October 28, 1955 in Berkley, CA, the daughter of William and Ellen (Elmendorf) Rogozinski. Patty grew up in Thomaston, CT where she graduated from Thomaston High School. After her marriage to her former husband, they traveled around the county with their family due to his enlistment in the military. Patty finally settled in Darlington where she had resided since. Patty is survived by her children: Jennifer (Mike) Baker of Jacksonville, FL, Kimberley (Charles Searles) Brown of Shullsburg, WI, and Robert (Amanda) Brown of New Holstein, WI; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: William Rogozinski; and her grandson: Matthew Searles in 2015. Patty attended Centenary United Methodist Church in Shullsburg. She enjoyed reading, was a talented cross-stitcher, and always loved walking on the beach. She loved spending time with her family, particularly cherishing their trips they took together all over the country. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
