Kristi K. Glanzman, age 65 of Darlington, WI passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 65. Kristi was a lifelong resident of Darlington, WI, where she was born on December 19, 1958, the daughter of William and Betty (Olson) McGranahan. Kristi's early years were spent in Darlington, where she formed lifelong friendships and stayed near to her family. She attended Darlington High School and went on to further her education at UW-Platteville, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1987.Professionally, Kristi dedicated many years to Lands' End in Dodgeville, WI, where she was not only respected for her work ethic but also loved for her personality. Kristi's colleagues knew her as someone who brought passion and humor to the workplace, making every challenge a little easier to tackle with her presence. Kristi's love for her family was immeasurable. She is survived by her son, Jeremy Williams and his wife Colleen, of Darlington, WI; her beloved grandson, Marty Williams and his fiancé Allison Horne, of Menomonie, WI.; and her caring sister, Pat Stauffacher, whose bond with Kristi was unbreakable, her in-laws: Mike McDermott of Darlington, WI., Brad (Berni) Ostby of Argyle, WI., Terry (Bob) Cargile of Diamond, MO and many nieces, nephews and friends she dearly loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam in 2014, two sisters: Nancy Ostby and Sally McDermott; one brother: Larry McGranahan; a brother-in-law: Tom Stauffacher; nieces: Tina Hermanson and Penny Niles; nephews: Mark Stauffacher, Billy McGranahan and Garrett Cooper and her special aunt, Doris McGinnis. Kristi's role as a mother and grandmother was one, she cherished deeply, and the joy she found in her family's achievements and milestones was evident to all who knew her. Marty, Kristi's grandson, was her pride and joy. She took every opportunity to support and celebrate his endeavors, and the special bond they shared was a testament to her loving nature. Kristi's interests and hobbies reflected her zest for life. She was known for her sassy wit, stubbornness, and sarcasm, all delivered with an impeccable sense of style that made her uniquely Kristi. Her passion for gardening was evident in the meticulous care she took of her yard, particularly her vibrant flowers which were her favorites. A woman of many talents, Kristi loved cooking and baking, and she was known by her family for her famous lasagna. She enjoyed a good glass of wine with friends and her love for travel took her on many adventures, each one adding to the list of memories she left behind. A celebration of Kristi's life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Corner Pub & Deli in (213 E. Milwaukee St.) Argyle, WI. from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
