Amos Breen

Amos J. Breen, age 40 of Darlington, WI passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born January 19, 1983 in Harvard, IL the son of Richard Jr. and Denise (Ferger) Breen. Amos grew up in Delevan, WI and later Burnside, KY. At the age of 25, Amos moved to Darlington, WI where he lived the rest of his life. Amos is survived by his fiancé: Tammi Baird of Darlington; two children: Cloie Breen and Patience Breen both of Somerset, KY; his mother: Denise Harazin of Camden; one brother: William (Abegail) Breen of Darlington; one sister: Hannah (Jim) Badertscher of Camden, TN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Richard Breen Jr; and his grandparents: Jim and Billie Ferger. Amos grew up in the Lutheran Church and attended Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, and coin collecting. Family meant everything to him and his favorite thing to be was "dad" and "uncle" to some of his favorite humans. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A Celebration of Amos' Life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
