Obituary
Diane Louise Foulker, age 80, of Darlington, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on August 31, 2026. She was born on April 19, 1946, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Daniel Leslie and Anna Amanda (Pattinson) Thurston. A lifelong resident of the Darlington area, Diane lived a quiet and simple life, finding happiness in the comfort of home and the company of those closest to her. Diane was united in marriage to Charles W. Foulker on October 15, 1962, at Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington. Together, they shared many years of marriage and raised their family in the Darlington area.
Diane was a woman of few words who never needed to be the center of attention. She was happiest at home and didn't need a busy schedule or a lot of excitement to enjoy life. What mattered most to Diane was her family. She and her husband Charles loved to go fishing and hunting together and enjoyed weekend drives across the countryside admiring the changing seasons. Diane especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren and the memories they created together over the years. In her quieter moments, Diane enjoyed watching old-time cartoons and television programs from her childhood, finding comfort and enjoyment in the familiar shows she remembered from years gone by.
Diane is survived by her children, Steven (Heather) Foulker of Freeport, Illinois; Roger Foulker of Wiota, Wisconsin; and Tim (Jenny) Foulker of Darlington, Wisconsin. She was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles, in 1999.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main St., Darlington). A private family service will be held at a later date, with burial at Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
