Isabelle Doyle

My last remaining aunt of the Will Leahy family lived to a wonderful age. I always enjoyed visiting Isabelle when I was home. She did so many things and usually had a story to tell me. She loved quilting and was always working on one. She had 9 children and many grandchildren. She was a busy woman. Rest in peace, Aunt Isabelle I haven't been to WI in many years and missed visiting Isabelle.

She told me about her time as being a cook on a boat on the Mississippi river, and she acquired the name of Cookie. Played cards with her at the senior center in Darlington, she was always a very nice beautiful,inside and outside, lady.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Thinking of your family at this difficult time.

I always enjoyed dancing and never turned down a request at Turner Hall in Monroe, but there were times when I would sit at the bar with Isabelle and Willie Lehner that I would prefer to sit and laugh with them Your mom had the best personality and laugh. So enjoyed being in her company and calling her friend.

So sorry for your loss. Lots of memories......
