Obituary

Cynthia Jo “Cindy” Teutschmann, a devoted caregiver and lifelong resident of Shullsburg, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on May 20, 2026. Born on July 30, 1960, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, Cindy was the beloved daughter of Eugene Edward Logan and Shirley Brown Haseltine. Cindy grew up in Shullsburg and attended Shullsburg High School.

Following her graduation from Shullsburg High School, Cindy and her High School sweetheart Ted Teutschmann started their family and began their life together in Shullsburg. Cindy dedicated her life to caring for others by working as a CNA at the Lafayette County Manor in Darlington for 29 years. Following her time working at the manor Cindy began serving as a private home care provider for many families in the area. She took great pride in her work as a CNA and found joy in spending time with family and friends, tending her garden, and keeping her home warm and welcoming.

She is survived by her children, Crystal (Kyle) Sauk, Teddy Teutschmann and Jacob Teutschmann, one stepdaughter, Mindi Okon; grandchildren Kayden Teutschmann and Jaxson Okon; stepmother Peg Rowley; her brother Patrick Logan, her father-in-law, Jim McGillivray and many of Ted's Siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Teutschmann, her parents, Eugene Edward Logan and Shirley Brown Haseltine, her siblings Jacqueline Logan, Michael Logan and Steven Logan.

May Cindy’s gentle spirit and selfless nature continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of life will be held at The Burg (134 W Water St. Shullsburg WI 53565) on Friday June 12, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm to honor and remember Cindy’s legacy and the love she shared with all who knew her.  The Erickson Funeral Home in Shullsburg is serving the family.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com
