Judy Garwell

Judy Garwell, age 69, of Monroe, WI passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 22, 1945, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Louis and Ruth (Peters) Surrell. Judy was united in marriage to Ralph Junior Garwell on June 9, 1962, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe. She lived in Monroe, Waupaca, WI, and eventually settled in Argyle, WI. Judy worked at Advance Transformer in Monroe for many years before relocating to Waupaca in 1988. She returned to the Argyle/Monroe area in 2013.Judy is survived by two children: Pam (Del) Tysdal of Waupaca, and Mike (Peggy) Garwell of Gratiot, WI; one brother: Tom (Kay) Surrell of South Wayne, WI; two grandsons: Dustin and Curtis Garwell; two great grandchildren: Krystal and Carter Garwell: and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph, on December 28, 2007; three brothers; and three sisters.Judy loved to go fishing and camping. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Judy had a lot of fun spending time at Casinos. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.A visitation will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (801 E. Milwaukee St., Argyle). A private burial will be held at Michael's Cemetery in Browntown, WI.
