Judith Schwartz

Judith "Judi" M. Schwartz was born on October 29, 1944 in Darlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clifford and Gwendolyn (Stack) Robertson. She graduated from Darlington High School, class of 1962. Judi married the love of her life, Harold Schwartz, on May 1, 1965 in Darlington. They have shared 51 great years together. Judi and Harold were blessed with one daughter, Tina (Keith Manning) Schwartz of Camanche, Iowa. Judi is also survived by her brother, James (Marlene) Robertson of Camanche, Iowa; and her two sisters: Wendi (Steven) Reichling of Darlington, Wisconsin; and Bonita Robertson of Argyle, Wisconsin; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Beverly) Robertson; and her nephew, Patrick Robertson. Judi loved being a homemaker and Mom. Time spent with her daughter, Tina, was the most cherished part of her life. Judi was a great story teller and at family events, she especially enjoyed recalling memories of her nephews and nieces while they were growing up, sometimes much to the disdain of those whom were the subject of her colorful recollections. Judi had a love for music and had a lovely singing voice, enjoying mostly Patsy Cline and country western music. Judi loved life. She will be fondly remembered and very sadly missed for her sense of humor and her love for her family.A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington) with Rev. Angela Steinhauer of Darlington United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
