Leroy Geyer

Leroy J. Geyer, age 93 of Janesville, WI formerly of Shullsburg, WI passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Huntington Place in Janesville. He was born June 6, 1923, in Lafayette County, WI, the son of George and Florence (Mullen) Geyer. Leroy lived in Lafayette County until moving to Janesville in 2000. Leroy is survived by one sister: Mary Elizabeth (Vincent) Thiltgen of Monroe, WI, one niece: Linda Lee (Gary) McIntosh of Monroe, one great-niece: Jenna Lee (Tyler) Cramer of Waunakee, WI; one aunt: Marian Mullen of Darlington, WI and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Leroy was a member of Shullsburg Centenary United Methodist Church. He enjoyed socializing with his friends and meeting them for coffee at McDonald's. Leroy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Shullsburg is serving the family.
