Alan Crompton

Alan R. Crompton, age 56 of rural Darlington, WI passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home. He was born November 4, 1959 in Beloit, WI the son of Robert and Claudette (Cody) Crompton. Alan graduated from Parkview High School in Orfordville, WI. He was united in marriage to Lori Hildebrandt on November 21, 1981 in Clinton, WI. Alan grew up in the Orfordville area until moving to rural Darlington where he farmed with his wife and son. Alan is survived by his wife Lori at home; one son: Cody Crompton at home; one sister: Maurean Caravalla of Stoughton, WI; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law: Ann (Jim) Stade of Roscoe, IL; two brothers-in-law: Ken (Amy) Hildebrandt and Don (Karla) Hildebrandt both of South Beloit, IL; two sisters-in-law: Kathy (Jeff) Collins and Sue (Troy) Lantz both of Clinton, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Alan's lifelong passion was his farming. He and his friends enjoyed team roping all over the country. He cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories that will stay with them forever. Alan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church a branch of Our Lady of Fatima Parish (104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington) with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington) and on Friday from 10:30 until 11:15 A.M. at the church.
