Herson Quijano, age 35 of Darlington, WI passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his home. He was born February 21, 1981 in El Salvador. Herson was united in marriage to Angelica Montano on June 7, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in El Salvador and has been a resident of Darlington for 12 years. Herson is survived by his wife: Angelica at home; his mother: Manuela de Jesus Lemus of Darlington; his father: Armando Quijano of El Salvador; two children: Amanda and Amy Quijano at home; and one brother: Cesar A. Quijano of Dallas. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Iglesia Apostolica Church (145 E. Louisa Street, Darlington) with Rev. Rodimiro Gutierrez officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 from 2:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home, Darlington (508 Main Street) and on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the church. I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Quijaro family is feeling because of losing Herson in death, after just 35 short precious years of life.. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection.
