Colt D. Royce, 6-month-old infant son of Olivia Erickson and Dustin Royce perished in a house fire along with his great-uncle Kenny Royce on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in Shullsburg, WI. He was born October 15, 2016 in Monroe, WI. Colt is survived by his parents: Olivia Erickson and Dustin Royce both of Argyle, WI; three brothers: Christopher, Hunter, and Axel Royce; one sister: Marley Jo Erickson; maternal grandparents: Larry "Oscar" and Lauri Erickson of Argyle; maternal great-grandparents: Donald Gille of Dunbarton, WI and Patsy Gille of South Wayne, WI, and Mary Erickson of rural Blanchardville, WI; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Betty Rose Royce and Gerald Allen Timmerman; maternal great-grandfather: Dwayne Erickson; and paternal great-grandparents: Jim and Joan Timmerman and Judson and Virginia Royce. During Colt's brief time here on earth he enjoyed spending time playing with his mom, dad, brothers, sisters and grandparents. His family will cherish the memories of Colt forever. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
