What fond memories I have of your mom when growing up in the Fayette area. Great times were spent at your parents house with Terry and Linda and my cousin Jo White. We loved to play ball together and do whatever else we could think of. I remember when it was time for your parents to drive us to 4-H ball games in Darlington. They had purchased a station wagon which was something really great in our time of growing up and we would all get in the back to go play ball. I had a great visit with her while she was at Sienna Crest and she was so proud of the family tree that she had hanging up. Rest in peace my friend. Laura Gross (Toots)

Sorry to hear of your loss. Delores was a wonderful friend to my mother Ila White and very loving and supportive of all us kids when we were small. She was part of our lives for as long as I can remember. When she worked in Dick's it was the highlight of my visit to Darlington to see Delores and have a chat.

I came to know Delores best through her work with the LaFayette County Historical Society and we came to be good friends. She loved history and was very active in the Society as long as she was able. Please accept my sincere sympathy on her passing. She was a great lady. Marion Howard
