Dale Ackerman

Dale E. Ackerman, age 61, of Argyle, WI, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Monroe Clinic in Monroe, WI. He was born February 19, 1956 in Lancaster WI, the son of Leonard Earl and Helen Ruth (Caley) Ackerman. He grew up on a farm in Beetown, WI and after he graduated from Cassville High School in Cassville, WI he served in the US Army from 1972-1973. Following his years in the service he was a cement worker at Jacoby &Son out of Blanchardville, WI. He later become a self-employed construction worker in many areas. He was also employed at Brunkow Cheese factory in Fayette, WI. In his spare time, he liked to fish, hunt, work on cars, woodworking, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his longtime girlfriend: Deb Raisbeck of Argyle, WI; children: Jamie (Angel) Ackerman of Beetown, WI, Angie Ackerman of Lancaster, WI, Nichole (Matt) Bedtka of Ten Sleep, WY, John Ackerman of Blanchardville, WI, and Jena Ackerman of Blanchardville, WI; siblings: David (Sharon) Ackerman of Lena, IL, Kenneth Ackerman of Belvidere, IL, Rick (Kimberly) Ackerman of Blue Mounds, WI, and William (Sharon) Ackerman of Glen Haven ,WI; Pamela (Special friend Bill ) Kirschbaum of Lancaster, WI; Betty (Mike) Hughes of Ridgeway, WI, and Dawn (Brian) Vogt of Glenn Haven, WI; one brother-in-law: Ralph Fingerson of Wisconsin Dells, WI; four grandchildren: Charity Starr, Jaiden Ackerman, Dylan Ackerman, and Braelynn Ackerman. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Joseph Ackerman; one sister: Sandra Fingerson; and one brother-in-law Gerald Kirschbaum. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is assisting the family.
