Marilyn Troy

Marilyn R. Troy age 82 of Randolph, WI formerly of Shullsburg, WI went to her eternal home, Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born September 5, 1935 in Nora, IL the daughter of Fred and Sarah (Gesner) Olthoff. Marilyn married Francis "Merlin" Troy on April 27, 1957 and they resided in Shullsburg all of their 37 years of married life until his passing on September 1, 1994. She is survived by her children: Lonnie (Melanie) Troy of Machesney Park, IL, Randy (Sue) Troy of Shullsburg and Maxine (Dan) DeYoung of Randolph; seven Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. A brother Gene (Jenine) Olthoff, Warren, Il; and a sister-in-law Doris Troy, Shullsuburg, WI.Marilyn was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Shullsburg and its Council of Catholic Women. Later in life, she enjoyed volunteering for "Meals on Wheels". A private graveside service will be held at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Shullsburg.
