Obituary
Donald D. "Donnie" Glindinning, age 81 of Darlington, WI passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born August 2, 1936 in Darlington Township in Lafayette County, WI the son of Raymond and Elaine (Sies) Glindinning. Donnie attended Vinger-Andrews Country School. He lived in Lamont, WI his entire life where he worked with his parents on the family farm and helped his neighbors. Donnie is survived by cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Father Ray: February 28, 1989 and his Mother: September 30, 2011. Donnie was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed going fishing with the same group of guys in Canada for many years and lastly in Lake Erie. He also liked bowling, hunting, and making his way downtown. Donnie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington) with Rev. Craig Simenson of Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death.
