Clare Pehl

I will always treasure the special surprise she had for us at Shelby's baptism - Clare & Ruby sang "Hear Your Borning Cry". Ever since I tear up every time I hear that song. She was also quite adventurous, 4 wheeling to Monroe, etc. Once we were on a very steep, off the trail hill and she flipped her machine! I hadn't seen Don & Jim move so fast down that hill! Thank goodness she wasn't hurt and she indicated we were not ever doing that again.

I had the pleasure of accompanying Clare and Ruby on many occasions. Two delightful ladies - I have fond memories I will treasure always. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Beth Fransen

Don and Clare were wonderful neighbors when we lived in Gratiot. There were visits and rides through the woods. You all have our deepest sympathy.
