Dear Thompson Family, If there ever was one consistent thing about Bernie, it was always how extremely proud he was of each and every one of you. At practically every encounter I had with Bernie, he would constantly extol your many life successes. It was very evident that he dearly loved each and every one of you. I know that death is an awful final conclusion to one's life. Hopefully you are comforted by the wonderful love that he expressed non-stop about each and every one of you. I wish each and every one of you well. With my warm regards, I remain Very truly yours, Thomas H. Geyer

To The Thompson Family, I am a distant relative on the Julson side. My Grandmother, Selma Dearth was a sister to Adeline Thompson. I moved to Platteville in 2010, visited with Bernie often and we shared stories and information. Back in 1992 I attended a Julson Reunion with my brother. He brought his toddler son and asked those in attendance if there were any with the middle name "Evan" - as this was my brother's middle name and his son's middle name. I remember Bernie sharing his middle name was "Evan" as well as one of his sons. In Sept 2017 my brother's daughter had a son and one of his middle names is "Evan". All this is a tribute to that shared ancestor of ours: "Evan Julson". My Sincere Sympathy. JoAnn (Olson) Schober
