I remember sitting on the big porch at the farmhouse with Patty and Kim watching storms coming across the field. We loved watching those storms until one night a big bolt of lightening hit the carriage house...there were sparks shooting everywhere and young people flying in the house as quickly as possible. Patty's eyes were as big as saucers that night... Patty was so smart..I always remember her studying at the big oak table in the dining room and I always knew she would accomplish so much. Spending Valentines Day with her was so very special this year and something I won't forget...such a strong spirit...Ruth and Kathy and Patty are probably sitting around a campfire telling amazing stories and enjoying a good laugh while the rest of us deal with our pain and loss here. My deepest sympathy and prayers for the family left behind.
