I remember Nan best as a great Library Board President. It was Nan who first had the idea of turning the downstairs of the old library into the children's room. She did so much for the community in those years. My most sincere sympathy to all the family on her passing.

My sympathy and prayers to the whole family. I knew Nancy throughout the years Jubie was at Kemper Hall. She always welcomed us to her home and made our visit a fun experience. The summer after graduation when my mother died, she shared her wisdom and love with me. She helped me that summer to deal with my mother’s unexpected death. I have tried in the years since to follow her example and share love and advise with others who deal with a loss. Her children and grandchildren were lucky to have her in their lives for so many years. They will have cherished memories forever. Susan McKnight
