Michael E. "Mike" Logan, age 59 of Lake Tomahawk, WI formerly of Shullsburg, WI passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a UTV accident on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Lake Tomahawk. He was born July 22, 1959 in Hazel Green, WI the son of Eugene and Shirley (Brown) Logan. Mike graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1977. He lived in Shullsburg until moving to Janesville, WI where he lived and worked for General Motors in Janesville and later in Ft. Wayne, IN, then Detroit, MI. After his retirement, Mike moved to lake Tomahawk where he has resided since.Mike is survived by his father: Gene (Peg Rowley) Logan of Shullsburg; one son: James Burkart of Decatur, IN; two brothers: Steve Logan of Lake Tomahawk and Pat Logan of Pueblo, CO; one sister: Cindy (Ted) Teutschmann of Shullsburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; one sister: Jacqueline Logan; and one nephew: Wayne Broska.Mike was an avid outdoorsman and could always be found hunting, fishing, or snowmobiling in his free time. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, and baseball on TV. Mike truly lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, July 30, 2018 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church (344 N. Judgement St., Shullsburg) with Rev. Sudhakar Devarapu officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N. Judgement St., Shullsburg) and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the church. Mike is my cousin and I don’t remember one specific thing but I do remember coming up to Wisconsin in the Summers and all of us cousins getting together and having so much fun. Even as we got older either Aunt Shirley would take me to see Mike at his place so that we could visit or Mike would come to Aunt Shirley’s to see me and it was always nice visiting with him. Mike was just a nice guy with a great sense of humor and a pleasure to be around when I’d see him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My love goes out to the family.❤️ Love Rhonda

Mike was well liked by all who knew him. We spent many hours with Mike around campfires, in the boat fishing or just sitting and talking. Whenever he was around he had everyone laughing with his great stories. We will miss him! Sending our thoughts and prayers to his family.

Mike was my friend for over 30 years . I shared a lot of time with Mike we were work partners, running buds , a lot of time on are Harley's. We shared some awesome times together that I can't put on this page but my brother we will miss you . . Thanks for the great day ice fishing this past winter. So sorry are summer fishing plans have changed . I will put a extra line in for you . Give them some good times in heaven see you there some day . Steve I'm so sorry for your loss .

Mike and I had so many great times together. He took me and my daughter camping for the first time and immediately taught us how to put up a proper tent. We went and seen so places together as a family when we moved to Michigan together. We even had James visit us during the five day blackout. Shanny and I will always cherish the good times and memories. Michael was one of a kind! It was my privilege to really get to know him . Not just the wild,fun,partier,but the loving,smart caring man few people got to see.
