Neil Andrews

Neil N. Andrews, age 65 of rural Darlington, WI passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. He was born September 3, 1953 in Darlington, the son of Willard and Helen (Vivian) Andrews. After graduation from Darlington High School, he worked for Co-Op Oil in Darlington, and later started his own business, Riverside Services Heating and Cooling. Neil was united in marriage to Carla J. Heidenreich on May 27, 1972 in Woodbine, IL.Neil is survived by his wife Carla at home; his children: Patricia Schuetz, Norman Andrews, and Nicole Frechette all of Darlington, Timothy (Melanie) Andrews of Shullsburg, WI; and seven grandchildren: Riley and Cheyenne Schuetz, Michael and Kaelin Frechette, and Trevor, Tyler, and Mia Andrews; five brothers: Donald (Shirley) Andrews, Leslie (Judy) Andrews, Lester (Lynn) Andrews, Kieth (Becky) Andrews, and Merlin (Eloise) Andrews, three sisters: Marion (Ed) Stanton, Nancy (Joe) Herbst, and June (Dave) Hoppenjan; one sister-in-law: Beverly Andrews and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Gerald Andrews and Larry Laverne Andrews in infancy; two nephews: Andrew Stanton and Todd Andrews; and one niece: Tammy Andrews.Neil was very passionate about his business and thoroughly loved to work. When he wasn't working, he spent his time with the grandkids, and loved attending their sporting events. He enjoyed golfing, watching Nascar and football. Neil also liked to go boating, camping, and playing mens volleyball. Neil was a past member of the Darlington Lions Club. He will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew him.A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Lafayette County Christian Church in Darlington (11560 Center Hill Rd) with Rev. Mark Gilberts officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Park Place, Darlington) and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the church.
