Gordon Patrow

Gordon "Gordy" Patrow, age 77 of Platteville, WI formerly of Shullsburg, WI passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. He was born July 28, 1941 in Eau Claire, WI the son of George and Genevieve (Larson) Patrow. Gordy graduated from Eau Claire Regis High School in Eau Claire. He was united in marriage to Deborah L. (Griggs) Russell on July 30, 1993 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Shullsburg. Gordy grew up in Eau Claire before moving to Shullsburg where he was part owner of Budget Builders and Remodeling LLC in Shullsburg.Gordy is survived by his wife Deb of Platteville; his step-children: Cheri (Richard) Wotnoske of Mt. Horeb, WI, Josh (Ashley) Russell of Shullsburg, and Brianne (Brad) Farrey of Platteville; his children: Paul, Amy, Jalaina, Tom, and Viva; several grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister: Gloria Kashoshek; and one brother: George Patrow. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Mark Patrow; one sister: Gail Meany; and his step-son: Kess Marquardt.Gordy cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren creating memories they will all remember forever. He enjoyed being outside working in his gardens and landscaping. Gordy had a passion for building and fixing things. He and Deb loved fishing, camping, their pets, and taking trips to the casino. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N. Judgement St., Shullsburg) with Rev. Nick J. McElrath of First Baptist Church in Darlington, WI officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 26, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at Erickson Funeral Home in Shullsburg.
