Richard Moore

Richard "Dick" Moore, age 80 of Winter Haven, FL formerly of Darlington, WI passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven. He was born October 26, 1938 in Darlington, WI the son of Virgil and Charlotte (Oyen) Moore. Dick graduated from Darlington High School in 1957. Following his graduation from high school, Dick moved to Platteville for a number of years. He lived in several places with Winter Haven being his final home. Dick spent most of his working career as an insurance agent. Dick is survived by his children: Steve (Amber) Moore of Oconomowoc, WI, and Kristine (Terry) Tarrer of Greensboro, GA; two grandchildren: Emily and Charlie Moore of Oconomowoc; one brother: Joe Moore of Brodhead, WI; and one sister: Darlene Allen of Darlington. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew: Lon Mroz. Dick liked to have a good time and had an infectious smile. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and helping his neighbors. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington.
